pressure washing & Sealing
A simple 3 step process to bring your interlock driveways, walkways and patios back to life :
We pressure wash with a surface cleaner to blast out any old joint sand and weeds (chemicals added if oil stains are present)
Once dry, a quality polymeric joint sand is swept in and sprayed with water to activate
Application of a solvent sealer to the surface, in your choice of finish; Semi-Gloss, Gloss, Natural, Matte and Satin. A color enhancer can also be added to this step
Protect your pavers.
Protect your investment from harsh Canadian winters. With properly applied, quality solvent sealers, your interlock will last a lifetime !! Solvent sealing interlock pavers is an important step in maintaining their durability and longevity. Here are some reasons why solvent sealing is important:
Protection against water damage: Solvent sealing creates a waterproof barrier that protects the pavers from water damage. Without this protection, water can seep into the pores of the pavers and cause them to crack or shift over time.
Resistance to stains and dirt: Solvent sealing creates a non-porous surface that resists stains and dirt. This makes the pavers easier to clean and maintain, and helps them retain their original appearance.
Enhanced color and sheen: Solvent sealing enhances the color and sheen of the pavers, making them look brighter and more vibrant. This can add to the aesthetic appeal of the pavers and improve the overall look of the landscape.
Increased durability: Solvent sealing strengthens the pavers and increases their durability, making them more resistant to wear and tear from foot traffic, vehicles, and weather conditions.
An important step in protecting your investment and ensuring that your outdoor space looks great for years to come. It is recommended that interlock pavers be solvent sealed every 2-3 years to maintain their protective properties.
