Local Snow Removal FAQ
How quickly do you respond after a snowfall?
Commercial site and VIP have priority. We mobilize when the storm is almost past or when accumulation is heavy. Please allow extra time as we must travel in bad conditions.
What’s included in “salt application”?
Salt is applied to driveways, walkways, and high-risk areas (e.g., stairs) to prevent ice buildup.
Enhanced/VIP: Salt included at no extra cost per visit.
Standard: Available as a pay-per-application add-on ($25/visit).
Ask about our eco-friendly liquid de-icer for extra protection!
Do you offer one-time service?
Yes! Rates start at $150/visit (no salt) or $175/visit (with salt). Priority given to seasonal clients during heavy snow.
Are you responsible for damage to my property?
While we treat every property with extreme care, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions or unavoidable damage (e.g., ice under snow, fragile surfaces). Crews document pre-service conditions for transparency.
How is pricing determined?
Starting prices cover a standard 2-car driveway. Larger areas, steep slopes, or commercial properties require a free onsite estimate. Factors include:
Square footage
Obstacles (e.g., trees, tight turns)
Accessibility
Do you shovel sidewalks and steps, or just plow driveways?
Yes! All packages include walkway and step clearing unless otherwise noted. For commercial properties, we can customize coverage (e.g., parking lots, loading docks).
How do you handle ice after freezing rain?
Salt events are instances such as freezing rain. V.I.P and Commercial packages will be covered on salt events but Standard and Enhanced are on a “Request Salt” basis.
We proactively monitor weather and apply:
Salt/ice-melt (included in VIP).
Liquid de-icer (add-on) to prevent black ice.
Tip: Request a pre-storm application for best results!
Are your snow removal chemicals pet- and plant-safe?
We offer pet-friendly ice melt upon request (slight upcharge). Standard salt is non-toxic but can irritate paws—we recommend rinsing paws after walks. Ask us for more info.
How do I prepare my property for snow removal?
Mark hidden obstacles like curbs with marking stakes if possible.
Keep walkways clear of debris and decorations.
