When is the best time to install sod?
Sod can be installed throughout the growing season (spring through fall). Fall is especially great because cooler temperatures and more rainfall help roots establish quickly before winter.
How long does sod take to root?
Usually 2–3 weeks. During that time, regular watering is key. After the first few weeks, you can treat it just like a regular lawn.
It’s not necessary but will definitely help speed up the rooting process. We offer fertilizing as an add-on to our sodding service. We use the best fertilizer in the industry! Contact us for more info.
Do I need to water sod after installation?
Yes — new sod needs frequent watering at first. Don’t worry, we’ll leave you with simple instructions to keep your lawn healthy.
Can you replace just part of my lawn?
Absolutely. Whether it’s a patch that needs fresh sod or a full front and backyard, we scale to your project. For areas less than 50 sqft. a soil and seed option my be a better approach.
